October might just be our favorite month of the year for fashion.
We’ve got the New York Fashion Week styles slowly starting to hit stores. The change in weather gives us an excuse to completely revamp our wardrobe with big, knitted fall fashions. And, most importantly, the fashion community comes together all month long to blanket our world pink and bring light to something much bigger than all of us: Breast Cancer Awareness.
The annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign which runs from October 1st – 31st aims to increase awareness of breast cancer and help women affected by the disease through early detection, education, and support services.
Donations are a large and appreciated way to help join the cause, but a number of fashion brands around the world also step up to create amazing limited and exclusive products which help raise more funding for different breast cancer organizations.

About the initiative: Ralph Lauren Corporation’s Pink Pony Campaign launched back in 2000 featuring a pink version of their iconic Ralph Lauren Polo Pony as its symbol. While the campaign was originally focused on the fight against breast cancer, the Pink Pony campaign has since expanded its mission to reduce disparities in care across a number of different cancers.
In the United States, through The Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation, the Pink Pony Fund provides grants to cancer centers and research organizations, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and more.
Bumble and bumble Pink Ribbon Thickening Spray
When you purchase Bumble and bumble’s fan-favorite thickening spray in this special edition pink packaging, they will donate 20% to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
About the initiative: Bumble and bumble’s donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is in support of The Estée Lauder Companies’ larger Breast Cancer Campaign. Bobbi Brown ‘Proud To Be Pink’ Lip Color Duo
Shop this creamy, full-coverage lip duo in Pink and Tulle in limited-edition pink packaging, and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics will donate $24 from the purchase to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, with a maximum donation of $110,000.
About the initiative: Along with Bumble and bumble, Bobbi Brown’s breast cancer awareness initiative is in support of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign. The Breast Cancer Campaign has raised more than $79 million to support global research, education, and medical services, with more than $65 million funding 260 medical research grants through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
M. Gemi x F Cancer Sneaker Collab
15% of proceeds from this collaborative collection (and 100% of shoelace proceeds) will help support F Cancer’s mission to provide resources about prevention, early detection, and life during and after cancer.
About the initiative: F Cancer is a non-profit who’s mission is to spark bold, frank conversations about prevention and early-detection of cancer, and to provide emotional support to those affected by the disease. They run both digital and on-the-ground programs and events that seek to change the way people think and talk about cancer.
